Vidyut, after seeing Commando, I went back and saw Thuppaki, Billa 2 and Force. I will be seeing Stanley Ka Dabba. Needless to say, in all these movie, the center of attraction was you. Your performance in Commando was superb and I see that movie every 15 days just to see the way your move your body and fight the baddies. I have gone through life admiring a number of actors and the action heroes who stick out for me are Jean-Claude Van Damme, Chuck Norris, Steven Segal, Jason Statham, Jet Li, and to some extent - Sylvester Stallone. I kept wondering what attracted me to these actors, and the answer was staring me in my face - self confidence. Absolute, unadulterated self confidence. You have the same capability. In Commando, for example, the way you stand with your hands crossed till the baddie is just a few inches away shows how confident you are of winning the situation. In the bridge scene, I could literally 'hearing' you scheming on a escape route as there was no other option.
In Bollywood, unfortunately, these capabilities are not appreciated much as compared to other capabilities such as singing and dancing, being part of a family, and stuff like that. I am sure you have lost of people advising you on how to improve your career in Bollywood. On my part, I will pray to God to give you success.
When you are in Chennai next, please give me the privilege to treating you to some sumptuous dinner at home or any place of your choice. It will be wonderful to sit with you and listen to what you fell about life. BTW, I speak Hindi fluently.
